Winter Slam 1 - UPDATE!

 Coaches,

It's almost time for first pitch of the Winter Slam 1! I'm looking forward to a great tournament going up at the end of the week.  I hope you are as well.  Hopefully you all are staying healthy and well. I've been caught up around a lot of sick people, so I'm a little slower than usual getting out this email.  My apologies!

Hopefully you all have seen the schedule by now.  If not, please check out the schedule on our homepage.  

You can also find the rules, prepay spectator fees, and pre-order tournament shirts.  You can always find the most up to date info on the website.  You can share the website with your families, as they can access all pertinent info so they will be prepared for a great weekend!

A couple of reminders.  

> Doors will open 1 hour and 15 minutes prior to the first game.  Players and coaches can enter when the doors open.  Doors will open for spectators one hour prior to the first game.  

> There is limited permanent seating in the dome.  Parents are encouraged to bring their favorite softball chair.  

> Please review the rules.  There are only 5 minutes between games.  Please be expeditions and courteous as you exit the field following the hand shake line!  We want to make sure the next team has ample time to get in and get ready.  

> Please text your scores to (419) 540-2136 following your game.  Updating your scores promptly will help ensure standings are updated, which will help us publish the bracket schedule rapidly.  Also, please double check the scores have been entered correctly prior to us publishing the brackets!

> Please provide a copy of your roster when you check in.  We will "see" your insurance, but we will NOT keep a copy.  

This looks like it's going to be a fun, competitive tournament, so we are really looking forward to another great event.  As always, sportsmanship is key - let's all have a great time, while playing at a high level, and showing great sportsmanship all weekend!
